Substructure made of wood

The centre-distance from bolt to post is aligned according to the load of own-weight and wind-burden and can only be a maximum of 0.6 m. Also a seating of at least 40 mm in the mounting area of the panel is needed. A substructure of wood is only useful for small areas.

Substructure made of metal

Screws or pins on one side of the profile attach the panels onto the substructure. For a length over

1.80 m they are fixed directly – in the middle when mounted horizontally and in the upper part of the panel when mounted vertically. By using two pieces or more for substructures, building tolerances can be equalized. In addition, only a few places with temperature exchange will be created.

Titan zinc pre-weathered 1.0 mm – 0.8 mm
Copper 0.7 mm – 1.0 mm
Colour-coated aluminium 0.7 mm – 1.2 mm
Steel plate, colour-coated 0.6 mm – 0.9 mm
Perforated steel plate, titan zinc, copper, aluminium 0.7 mm – 1.0 mm
